Spring has arrived! Gossip will warm you up with several new releases that are sure to bring the heat. Phil from Royal Paris in France, has treated us to a big room tribal number titled, “Spiritual Vibes”. The vocals deliver an emotional performance backed by a percussion rhythm that would make any tribal fan feel like they were in paradise. Staying with the tribal theme, we had to call DJ Wady, and ask him to create a remix for “Spiritual Vibes” that would maximize the use of drums, and incorporate his hypnotic bass lines so many dj’s know him for. Wady delivered the goods, and gave us a smoking new remix! Not to be out done Hott 22 created an uplifting mix that utilizes rich chords, synths, and a funky bassline they are often known for. The music is nothing less than a perfect balance to compliment the epic performance.

Live Element is back!
They have a new release titled “Downtime” done in collaboration with rapper Pure Dynamite.

Pure Dynamite is from East Orange, NJ and has the experience and talent of any of today’s greatest rappers. With his unique approach to rhyming and his humorous look at sex, he creates one of the freshest, most entertaining rap angles since 2 Live Crew. Remember his name.

“Downtime” is sure to warm you up this winter. With remixes from StoneBridge, The Flash Brothers and Live Element, this release brings the heat. It is set to promo on Beatport on December 20th, 2007.

Kid Massive featuring Robert Owens “Another Day”
Ask any fan of dance music who their favourite male vocalist is and nine times out of ten Robert Owen’s name will come back. Sure, there are other great male house vocalists out there, but with more than twenty years as a gifted singer, songwriter, producer and DJ under his belt, Robert has not so much embellished house music as played a large part in defining it. Gossip is set to release Kid Massive featuring Robert Owens “Another Day”. They have teamed up in the studio to produce a classic. Robert’s legendary vocal performance takes this project over the top with his patented sound, and style. On remix duties, Richard F from Subliminal gives us a main room killer. Hott 22 offers up a more soulful take on Robert’s performance for the true house fan that loves their share of hearing the Rhodes, and other live instrumentation. Guaranteed to make impact.

Bargrooves
Gossip Records in association with Seamless Recordings proudly offers you another fine release in the legendary Bargrooves Series, Bargrooves: Members Only US Limited Edition.

Welcome to Future Disco.
After 12 years of releasing funky, sexy, uplifting house we thought it was time to mix and compile our past gems and future club bangers. With support from superstar DJ’s like Roger Sanchez, Little Louie Vega, Richard Grey, and Stonebridge it seemed logical for Gossip’s first installment of Future Disco be mixed and compiled by the team that has been most influential in shaping the Gossip sound. Hott 22 of course owns this title and the duo doesn’t disappoint. After just one listen it will become clear why house music fans around the world can’t get enough of their distinctly discofied house sound. Future Disco is in stores now!

Bonnie Bailey
Hott 22 featuring Bonnie Bailey - “No Promises” This record has been in the making for some time. Originally, Hott 22 created a track called, “I Feel Love”. Bonnie Bailey heard the song, loved the track, and wanted to write lyrics to it. Bonnie and Eric Kupper went into the studio with Hott 22’s track to record and produce Bonnie’s lyrics for it. After we heard Bonnie’s performance, we were extremely excited, and asked the legendary Eric Kupper to create a new remix. Shortly after, we asked Thomas Gold to work his magic on the track and he created some real gems to an already solid package. Finally, the alter ego Live Element had to get in on the project as well, and produced two more floorfillers. This release is now available on Beatport.com and Traxsource.com.
